SiteLink Breaks into the Guam Self-Storage Market

GU Self Storage held grand opening in Harmon, Guam

SiteLink, the global leader in cloud-based software and payment processing for storage operations of all sizes, is proud to announce a new customer in the U.S. territory of Guam. This marks the first client for SiteLink on this western Pacific island.

GU Self-Storage, a division of Calvo Enterprises, Inc., opened earlier this month with 270 climate-controlled units and is located on the site of the former Guam Power Authority headquarters. The 2-story facility offers unit sizes ranging from 5’ x 5’ to 10’ x 25’, plus office and postal services for small and large business via an onsite partnership with Mail Hub. Access to conference rooms or workstations will also be available.

Grand opening festivities, held May 6, 2017, included facility tours for special guests and remarks from VP of Calvo Enterprises Leonard P. Calvo, Guam Lt. Governor Ray Tenorio, and Mail Hub Manager Don Paulino. Guam-based KUAM News has called GU Self-Storage “safe and secure” and posted a live video of the much-anticipated event.

Calvo Enterprises Inc., based in Hagatna, purchased the property about 2 years ago and began renovations in early 2016 with a plan to invest about $1.5 million in the facility, according to KUAM News. Calvo Enterprises has multiple diverse interests in Guam and Micronesia, employing approximately 1,000 workers.
