Overall Award

Mines Road Self Storage in Laredo, Texas was crowned the Overall winner. According to Mines Road, the store's SiteLink Web Edition software allows access to key data from anywhere in the world through cloud-based technology. SiteLink allows owners and managers to coordinate activity 24/7 from any computer or mobile device. One of the top SiteLink features is the ability to roll out online payments and reservations in one step using a website template that employs client-defined business rules. The system allows tenants to pay rent, reserve units, and gain access to their accounts anytime. It gives the owner and management access to real-time data, settings, reports, and corporate control at any time.

Conversion Award

The Conversion award went to Stadium Self Storage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin who have been using SiteLink for 18 years to meet their management software needs. According to Tim Kallas, the facility's general manager, the best things about SiteLink are the automation and reporting. Kallas uses SiteLink to process all notices for delinquent accounts and automatically process birthday and anniversary notices.

"I love the mapping of tenants and competitors," he says. "It shows us which areas of the community we still need to get the word out to." SiteLink is actually integrated with Google Maps for enhanced marketing capabilities. In addition to normal daily tasks, the facility also uses SiteLink to track promotions and marketing results; process weekly, monthly, and yearly management reports; obtain financial reports, and process lien notices. Plus, the CRM module enables Kallas to track leads, referrals, and follow-up communications.

International Award

Once again, judges crowned Vina Del Mar, Chile based AKIKB Minibodegas as the International winner. "We chose SiteLink because it works with our local settings, time zones, tax systems and laws," said Arie Rezepka, AKIKB Minibodegas' owner. "It's an excellent tool for running our operation. The Spanish version and the Spanish-speaking technicians at SiteLink have been invaluable. Their support at any time has been great."
