Move It Self Storage and Move It Management are privately owned companies chartered to acquire and manage self-storage facilities. The businesses were founded in 2013 by A. Starke (Tracy) Taylor, III, a former Chairman of the national Self Storage Association and a respected industry leader for 35 years. The companies own and/or operate approximately 50 self-storage facilities encompassing 4,000,000 sf, and they serve over 30,000 customers in Texas, Tennessee, and Massachusetts.

The Move It Companies are headquartered in Dallas, Texas, and employs approximately 100 very dedicated people. Move It is an independent self-storage operator with a partnership affiliation with National Storage Affiliates, a publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT), trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol, NSA.
